Understand our Bible ‘The Word of God’. Evg.Babu T Thomas

Dear in Christ, welcome you all. Knowing something is always good. Well here in this platform a good topic is being shared for the benefit of our living. But it is good to know the right and practice what is written in the Bible is the way for life. Because the Bible is the scale and it is a guide to correct ourselves. What we practice since from our childhood is not the matter but are we living according to the Bible is the concept. Dear my beloved elders, brother and sisters you all know where we are today. The whole world is shaken and it shows us the glimpse of end time turmoil. So let us thank God for giving us all a change to review our stand so that those leading the holy life try to be more holy or by change if we are on the other track need to switch over to the right path.

Here our main problems are the perceptions which varies from person to person and the other important thing behind our deviations is that adopting to certain standbys for example a baby sucks his own thump finger as if the baby is in the mother’s bosom. These are the two main factors to understand and take steps for corrective measure. Do we all really know the plan and the purpose of the plant earth and the mankind in it. The Bible speaks all about the plans of our God who created us in His own image. God created everything and gave the whole in to the hands of a man called Adam and God gave a suitable pair called Eve to associate with Adam in the management of the planet earth. God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it and dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that move upon the earth. Genesis:1: 28

God taught the man everything for what to do and what not to do and its consequences like how we teach our children at their infant stage. In spite of His clear cautions, men did what not to do and stepped down from his safe zone to the suffering point on his own. The Scripture pronounce the nature and the behavior of men. The earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence. Genesis: 6:11. And God saw that the wickedness of the man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. Genesis: 6 : 5. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children on men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They all gone aside, they are all together become filthy, there is none that doeth, good, no not one. Psalm 14: 2-3. At one point of time God annoyed to destroy the whole creation expect Noah and family with a pairs of moving creatures of the universe.

What is today is the same in the past. We all have heard and seen that history repeats scenario happening around us. The destruction continues around the globe in time of intervals. In 1918 the spread of Spanish Influenza was a great threat and consumed lakhs and lakhs of people like Coronavirus today. Similarly there were so many such epidemics, hail storms, earth quakes, floods, locusts, famines and many such natural calamities taken place and continuing till today covering the whole world. There are millions and millions of people were get affected on regular basis. But still by losing their precious lives and belongings, there is no turning back is taking place and this is the saddest part in the human history to digest. In Revelation chapter 9 verses 20 & 21 says, And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk. Neither repented of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

The Bible is full of rules and regulations for the man kind which clearly speaks about the do’s and the don’ts. In the process of relationship revival between the God and men to bar the gap, God descended from heaven to be with us. The purpose of His coming was to fulfill the duty of building relation with God. And Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up and as His custom was, he went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, The Spirit Of The Lord Is upon Me, Because He Hate Anointed Me to Preach The Gospel To The Poor, He Hate Sent Me To Heal The Broken Hearted, To Preach Deliverance To The Captives And Recovering OF Sight to The Blind, To Set at Liberty Them That are Bruised, To reach The Acceptable Year of The Lord. Luke : 4 : 16 – 19. So Jesus Christ arrived with big agenda to transform people from their immoral practices and misunderstandings.

And it came to pass afterward, that Jesus went throughout every city and Village and all Galilee, teaching in their Synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people, Matthew: 4 : 23 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him. Acts: 10: 38. Jesus Christ accomplished His mission on earth and on the cross while shedding His own blood for the whole people and said “It is finished” John: 19: 30. This exercise was done some 2000 years ago and He prepared and called His disciples, And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, “all powers is given unto me in heaven and in earth”. Matthew: 28; 18 The power is nothing but, And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations and languages, should serve Him, His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Daniel: 7: 14. “Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I AM with you always, even unto the end of the world”. Amen Matthew:28:19-20.

Considering the urgency and emergency of the situations His Disciples and Apostles including Paul travelled widely throughout the world and preached all what He taught to them with the anointment and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Till day the gospel of His good news is being spread widely every nook and corner but still people fear for pestilences like Coronavirus and not the God of Almighty. If people fear God and accept the word of God to act according to His will and wish they need not to fear for life. Because He has shed His blood to cover us to protect from all evils. This is the real matter of fact to believe and adore. Nothing will dare to harm us is the simple logic, Amen.
